Radical wins at inaugural US Prototype Championship race at Sebring.
Taj Husain and Gerhard Watzinger have represented Radical in the best way possible during the first running of NARRA’s US Prototype Championship at the PartsRack Grand Prix of Sebring, Nov 21-23. Driving an SR3 and SR8 they respectively won the PR2 and PRU classes of Saturday’s sprint race.

Husain and his Radical SR3 won a hard fought to and fro battle with the Praga R1 of Robert Haub, passing him out of the final corner.

Radical was also victorious against Praga in the Unlimited class thanks to twice Radical Cup USA SR8 Champion Gerhard Watzinger. After impressively out pacing a number of Elan DP02s to take pole position for the inaugural race, Watzinger held the outright lead for a number of laps. Finishing second overall, he won the PRU class from Don Yount's Praga R1.

The outright and PR1 class winner was the Elan of Robert Alon, while the Wolf of Conrad Grunewald won PR2. Each of the four class winners were presented with a $100 cash prize by Tom Drewer on behalf of Radical North America.
