Radical RXC V8 wins all three GT Cup races at Donnington
Straight from the factory to victory lane, the latest Radical V8 RXC to roll off the production line has won all three races during the latest rounds of the UK GT Cup at Donnington (Sept 20-21, 2014).

Amazingly the brand new RXC V8, was only collected from the factory on the Wednesday of the event and transported directly to the Donnington circuit.

Driver Rob Wheldon immediately put the RXC on pole position, lapping 1.9 seconds faster than his nearest rival, before leading the car’s first race start to finish. He backed up the maiden win by taking a clean sweep for the weekend, taking two further poles, two more wins and all three fastest laps.

His performances were made more impressive by the virtue of beating a McLaren piloted by factory driver Rob Bell, as well as a number of Ferrari 458s and Porsche GT3s on his way to lapping the 36 car field up to 6th place.

The Worcestershire based driver was ecstatic with the results and the performance of the RXC V8. "Three out of three so it as a perfect weekend," said Wheldon. "I really couldn't have asked for more. It's been fantastic, the car has been great all weekend so I can't complain at all. The racing has been good, the championship has been well organized and it’s been a pleasure to be involved."
